When first opening Capture One, pressing E activates the Magic Eraser tool instead of Erase Mask. This occurs even though Erase Mask is the icon showed in the toolbar before pressing E. (I do want to leave E as the shortcut for both tools. This is most efficient for me, and is the default setting anyway.) I think the issue might be that Magic Eraser is listed above Erase Mask in Keyboard Shortcuts (but not in the actual toolbar menu). This is not the case with Draw Mask and Magic Brush. Those work as expected when pressing B for the first time after launch.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
It gets me almost every time. I start erasing and then realize that I have the wrong tool. A minor issue, but should still be fixed. I'm guessing that it would be quite easy for the developers.
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I just undo the erasure that didn't work as expected, and then press Shift-E. :-)
