I work with other DAM software and use XMP sidecards to sync the meta data. How to see if Capture One has written a XMP file and if it's changen or upto date?

Always. I use Capture One in connection with other Digital Asset Management software. Like Capture One Pros workflow in the past with Media Pro.

In Lightroom for instance there is a little exclamation mark which shows, the meta date has been changed outside. I use the 3rd party plugin "Data Explorer" to search for missing XMP files.
