What problem do you see this solving?
Performance leak : when I work i don't want C1 to calcultate preview. When I browse my folder, I don't want to C1 calculate all the preview of the photos i won't event look at. When I accidentally click on a folder container 10k photos, I don't want C1 to calculate the 10k preview
I want the ability to stop the C1 preview calculation

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? Shutting down C1, consider returning to photoshop, curse the developers that didn't make any button to stop the preview generation, and the ones that didn't make a feature to limitate cache size. |
Yes this has been a long time major problem that they refuse to see / address. I asked multiple times over the years for at least a pause button on the status dialog.
