Change the .cos file's modified date ONLY when adjustments are made to an image (not with every browsing of the image folder)

What problem do you see this solving?

All adjustments to an image done in a session, or from an export originals with adjustments, are stored in the .cos file of an image.

Every other backup solution, even if it is "only" a manual comparison with a file and folder browser application (like Explorer or Finder)

relies on the correctness of some file attributes like creation date and modified date.

In addition to backup solutions with the purpose of an adjustments backup, a user can also creat4e a method to synchronize adjustements done with a session

between two computers, e.g. a notebook and a desktop computer, by comparsing and moving .cos files bases on the higher modified date. If a modified date is

higher then the adjustment is newer.

Fortunately, this worked until at least until 15.2, so it should be easy to awake again.

(it doeds not work anymore with Windows10, C1 version 15.4)

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Everytime I backup my latest edits, but wait, actually...

Every time I use C1 because I switched back from 15.4 to 15.2 because of this regression bug. Therefore I even filed a bug 4 month ago (#172703).

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

No workarounds exist.
