Generate previews/thumbnails in background while OS/user is locked
What problem do you see this solving?
What I noticed is that when the computer is locked, it stops generating previews. C1 picks up the generation when you unlock/login again. But if you by then have taken your catalog offline (when referenced), then the previews/thumbnails are missing in the overview.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

not possible, resp. unlock all the times when the computer goes in to auto-lock
Hi Reto Tuchschmid, I'm not 100% sure this is a Capture One feature request as it's possible it's macOS related. It used to be possible to prevent the Mac from going to sleep when the display is off, but now I can't find that option on ARM Macs with newer OS versions. Consider looking to see if there is anything that can be done at the OS level.
