Same photos, different tasks/projects. I find useful to duplicate an existing project structure (folders and albums inside) in order to create a new project that I can later optimise for a different purpose/task/deliverable. Starting from Project_A, it would be useful to have it duplicated into Project_B and have Project_B automatically populated by cloned variants of images belonging to Project_A. So that I can work on Project_B without affecting image variants of Project_A (example: making a b/w version of Project_A, or assigning different star ratings or different crops etc.)
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
It is quite common that I start from an old project and make new image choices and new image renderings for a different book or a different slideshow.

I'm doing it by hand: create Project_B and replicate inside it same folders and same albums as in Project_A. Populate Project_B with the same images of Project_A, clone variants, remove original Project_A variants from Project_B
