Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
What problem do you see this solving?
Capture One cannot read/edit HDR-DNG-Files generated by Adobe oder DNG-Files that have been enhanced with Adobe's Superresolution functionality. So former and newly generated files from the Adobe Suite cannot be edited in Capture One (Panorama however works). Since C1's HDR and Panorama functions are currently not on par with Adobe, I am still converting those types of images in Lightroom / ACR. But I would like to be able to edit the resulting DNG in C1, since C1 ist my preferred RAW editor.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
On almost every architecture/landscape session.
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? The only workaround at the moment is using Lightroom / ACR completely for those images. Converting to TIFF is no option since this would mean that WB-Changes are not working properly in C1 and also filesize would increase |
Well, there was an article last year titled "Improved DNG Support" https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003336397-Improved-DNG-support
Note the last line:
I'm not sure I'd call this "improved", though.
I have the same problem with panorama dng files created by lightroom classic (v 13.0.1). They simply don´t get imported when synchronizing a folder.
