Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
Often while moving around an image at some magnification, I want to crop it. Yes, there's the usual keys and draw a crop to whatever I see in the viewer. Slow, and I have to fiddle with crop aspect ratio. It would be faster to:
1. Assignable key 1 - Crop to view and clone to variant. STAY on original image (and keep moving around).
2. Assignable key 2- Crop to view and clone to variant. SWITCH active edit to new cropped clone.
Both keys would be independent of crop aspect ratio (it becomes whatever the viewer window is)
Yes, I could set the crop frame to dark and move around an image. But usually I am moving around magnified images in the viewer with no original intention to crop them, and- surprise- see a composition that I like. Above keys would be faster.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
