I would like to be able to mask contrast edges variably. Similar to brightness masks, but only for contrast edges. LR has offered this highly variable option for a long time. For example, you can sharpen only contrast edges very selectively.

What problem do you see this solving? I want to use Capture on full scream with out any of the panels or tools disappearing. Editing on a larger monitor or two displays it's irritating that it only offers the canvas view. It seems like this would ...

Change the default appearance or contrast of the toolbar and picture bar sliders. The gray tint when inactive is hard to see when editing. When active they have a orange highlight and are not adjustable from within the application.
