    when selecting a background or subject in an image that has very hard edges, like a product, it would be beneficial if the mask wasn't refined / feathered so the user doesn't have to spend a long time recovering the hard edges which are feathered ...

    Pan and zoom during mask refinement

    It is not possible to be in the refine mask tool and see how it affects 2 part of the image since you can't pan or zoom when using that tool

    Make brush tool work without having center of brush within image boundary

    What problem do you see this solving? When attempting to brush highly feathered selections around the edge of the image, the brush will not work unless the center of the brush is within the image boundary. This makes it difficult to get the effect...
