The Auto Levels button is grayed out when working in a layer. It would be helpful if it worked in a layer.

Current workaround
Currently I click the Auto Levels button in the image (background) layer and then move the adjustment to a new layer. But this doesn’t allow me to put the auto levels layer in a style, which is what I really want to do. |
