I keyword files as I shoot them as the UI is convenient. I cannot now use those keywords in my filenames, which is a massive pain in the backside.
The solution is simple really, just create a filename recipe tag for "Keywords" in two forms:
- End Keyword, No Hierarchy
- All Keywords, Flattened Hierarchy

Current workaround
Right now I have to run a custom script to pull the keywords from the XMP files and insert them into the IPTC Description field, then reload the metadata in C1 and use the Description tag in my filenames. It shouldn't have to be like this :) |
Thought I'd give this another kick two years later.
It's a bit bonkers to have a keyword tagging interface and then be completely unable to use those keywords for anything!
There's no way I'm the only person wondering why the Keywords system in C1 is essentially neutered ?
