Seperating Subject from Masks or Gradient on Background Merged

I really like the option of selecting the subject and background using AI and editing them separately as a mask.

I have now tried to apply a gradient to the background mask. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be possible to combine a gradient with a mask. In my tests, the gradient was always applied to the entire image, not just the background.

It would be great to have that feature in an upcoming release.

Current workaround

Only possible with additional Application, f.e. Affinity Photo
