I have an all-in subscription and found the iPad version lacking functionality. The iPad Pro shall meet all requirements of Capture One Pro. I want to use my Apple Pencil for retouching instead of trying to make precise movements with a mouse. Affinity Photo runs on my iPad and synchronizes my files, resulting in a perfect multi-device workflow. Please do something similar. This mobile version is ideal for my iPhone, but I expect significantly more from the iPad.

Current workaround
I struggle with the mouse in the Pro version or retouching in Affinity on an iPad and leave Capture One out of the workflow. Using it requires a lot of exports/imports due to the lack of Affinity integration. I do not use the iPad as an input table or any other shifty solutions. I do not have a MacBook, so I'm using the iPad for tethering, but file transfer is terrible when I want to continue on the MacMini. The iPad needs a full version. |
We are constantly working on adding features to Capture One Mobile. But the desktop apps are the result of 20+ years of work, so don't hold your breath for the two reaching feature parity sometime soon. It is more helpful if you file specific requests here, like "Pencil support". That helps us prioritise what we add next.
