What problem do you see this solving?
Say I've done an interior shoot - I've come back with 3 exposure sets for 50-60 different shots. Currently, I have to 1* all image sets and then go set by set to merge them to HDR and then do a search for .dng files and 2* them. This takes a lot of time. A batch Merge to HDR or even a Merge to HDR 'render queue' or something to that effect would solve this issue.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
This would save hours of work.

I am in the middle of a multi-hour slog through the click-click-wait process of merging a hundred or so HDRs. It's really baffling that batch HDR merge isn't already a part of the software.
