Currently, the default opacity level for layers is 100%. Provide the ability for the user to set a default opacity level for layers (other than 100%) in Settings.

It should be possible to cull after fixing exposure and applying a style for instance. It is easier to choose a keeper if you see a version closer to the end result. I would apply auto exposure and a style to all images before culling.

I would like to be able to mask contrast edges variably. Similar to brightness masks, but only for contrast edges. LR has offered this highly variable option for a long time. For example, you can sharpen only contrast edges very selectively.
