Full Screen

What problem do you see this solving?

I want to use Capture on full scream with out any of the panels or tools disappearing. Editing on a larger monitor or two displays it's irritating that it only offers the canvas view. It seems like this would be a standard setting, but I can find any instructions how to achieve it. In photoshop you can choose what type of full screen you want.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Constantly

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

There is not workaround.

Adding another vote to this. On MacOS, what I want can be replicated manually by 1. Viewing full-screen. 2. Adding tools Command-T. and adding browser Command B. I do like having the ability to see full-screen without any tools, but that can be another shortcut.

So this request is about displaying the tools over the top of the full screen display of the image?

As I recall features like the Keyboard Shortcuts and, more recently, Speed Edit facilities were, at least in part, created to provide a way to edit a mostly unobscured image without needing to display tools onscreen.

The other option would be Floating tools  - either singly or in groups  - since these persist over whichever mode the Viewer screen is in.

To save a particular configuration for re-use I would expect the creation of a personalised Workspace to be at least part of the solution but people may need to check how well that would work for them and suggest enhancement where necessary.

I'm not sure everyone would have the same ideas and wishes but, given the floating tool option already exists, it may offer a ready starting point for some enhancements that could be quicker to implement than something entirely new to achieve the same sort of result.

One way for any feature request to get on Capture One’s radar is to make sure to upvote items that are important to you. Here’s the current list by top votes, including implemented ones of course. This one seem to have zero votes, so if you like it and want it, hit the ‘^’ on the original post in the thread.

Ditto the Full Screen support like Like Lightroom has, please think about adding this.

I'm looking to achieve this as weel as when I select full screen it only displays the image as full screen when I'd like the tools and the browser to be full screen as well.

    Any thoughts on this?
