As I discovered earlier in this thread, there doesn't seem to be tethering support for any Pentax cameras, although the raw files for 34 different models are supported. I'm no expert on tethering, but I wonder whether it depends not just on Capture One being prepared to do it but Pentax being will ing to cooperate on that too. Have you asked Pentax why their cameras don't have tethering support in Capture One?
(A bit of googling suggests that a while ago there was no support in Lightroom for tethering Pentax cameras because Pentax wouldn't co-operate with Adobe to enable it. I'm not sure whether that is still the case, but my point is that the difficulty may be on Pentax's side, not on Capture One's side.)
It appears that tethering for this camera is not available in Capture One. In fact there is no tethering support for any Pentax cameras. (I don't know why.)

I don’t see any point in paying for a license until they support taking pictures directly from the Pentax K1MII camera.
