Support for iPhone Portrait Mode

The latest iPhones eg. 15 Pro Max turn each photo of a person into a potential "portrait" with the ability to change the focus retrospectively, etc. Is it possible to replicate the same in Capture One Pro? Is it planned?

My current workflow is to export the unmodified originals from the iPhone to Capture One Pro, edit them an export them back to Photos. With the portrait mode this is no longer feasible, if I want to retain the ability to use the portrait features for subsequent editing.

I would like to replicate the functionality on my computer (Mac). At present my workflow is to export all Unmodified Originals into my Capture One Pro library (organising the originals, renaming them, processing them, creating variants etc), delete them from iCloud and export selected edited variants back to iCloud.

The advent of ubiquitous potential portrait image (Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max) means that I can longer use Capture One Pro as the repository of all original image files (akin to negatives in the analogue world). This is a big issue - which may ultimately result in me looking for another platform (I came to Capture One Pro from Aperture, having held out for as long as was possible). Does this explain my point?

Hey 371509003198, do you want to replicate Apple's functionality inside the Capture One mobile app or in Capture One Pro on your computer? Also, can you please elaborate on why this is important for you and what is your current workaround?
