Improve C1 for iPad

What problem do you see this solving?

I need to travel with a MacBook, as while C1 for iPad supports tethering and very basic edits, it does not support layers. The opportunity is to enable iPad to perform essential processing on location. This is catch up with competitors. Please prioritise layers for iPad.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Every week when working on client locations that will benefit from edits to share before leaving site.

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

I take both a Macbook and iPad to client sites

    I tether my Z9 to an iPad pro. I use C1 for the initial edits, as it has better control over the colours than Lightroom. If I only have an iPad with me, then I export a TIFF and use Affinity for local adjustments. I mostly take a MacBook too, so global and local adjustments can be made in C1 on site, but that should not be necessary.

    Thanks for the response! We are currently working on our plan and will share our roadmap once we are ready. What do you do now when you work on the field and local adjustments are required?

    I shoot for commercial clients where sharing a close to final edit on site is expected. Mobile is an essential tool in current times. Masks in layers are an important part of that process for localised changes. Needing to wait until return to a desktop is not good for C1 as a tool. Lightroom and Affinity provide layers for mobile RAW editing. C1 is my choice for desktop and I would like it to be so in the field too. Where is layers in the roadmap please?

    Hello 7039581361821 and thanks for the feedback! Layers has been one of the most requested feature from our users. Can you give us some context about why is it important for you to do these edits while you are still on site? what kind of photography are you into and what are you doing now that this feature is not available?
