Selective grain additions to an image

In my previous software, Exposure X7, it had the ability to apply grain effects to masks or certain luma ranges. This allowed me to selectively apply and control grain effects to selected parts or tonal ranges of the image, rather than apply to all. Please can this be added to a future C1 pro release as it was super useful! Many thanks!
