I am not sure if this is a newish feature with copying masks to other images (never noticed it before the new version) and I think it is great...finally being able to copy individual masks over to other images! I would however, like to request an additional feature to masks and that is being able to copy over the changes I make in a mask to the same mask in another image. Currently individual changes can only only be copied from the main image layer. Adding copy layer/mask is great, but not being able to make changes in a layer/mask and then copy that over still makes this process cumbersome.

Current workaround
The only work around is to make the change in the layer/mask I am working on, delete the same layer/mask in the image I want to copy the changes over to, and the copy the layer back from the original image to the next image. If I have multiple images this gets tedious because I have to remove the layer/mask in each image before I can copy the revised layer/mask over. When you are working on images as part of a composite or stop motion series, this is really tiresome. The other way is to make that exact same change to each image manually...equally cumbersome. |
