Copy/Apply settings automatically excluding layers!

What problem do you see this solving?

When copy/pasting settings, layers get doubled if you forget to uncheck them. Absolutely annoying and perilous. Make it so we can automatically exclude them, the same way you did for composition.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Right now!

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

Uncheck the layer tab every time. Cumbersome

This change is driving me crazy! Now, every time I want to copy adjustment layers across a set of captures, I need to RECHECK "layers"... and next time I "copy adjustments" it disables this check I have just checked. Why have a check box then?! This is a sloppy fix to a pseudo problem.

When I say "layers get doubled", it's because I forgot to mention that I apply a series of curve and color grading layers to all my images as a preset. Then I'll adjust my images one by one, copy/pasting adjustments to similar group of images, and that is where the layer doubling happens if I forget to uncheck them in the copy adjustments tab.

Another option should be to apply settings to layers by the same name, without changing the mask - only custom values for White Balance or Colors. I wish I knew how to copy adjustments for layers without manually redoing them for each layer by that name on all photos.
