Customizable Import tool file population sequence

What problem do you see this solving?

I only own one SD card. Whenever I open a new session and want to import photos, Capture One has to spend time loading all of my past photos before getting to the most recent images which I actually want to work on. Even when I filter by date, Capture One import continues to populate photos in old to new sequence. I'd like the option to reverse the order in which images are populated into the import tool so that the most relevant images appear first, and I can begin filtering by the relevant date and then culling.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

This happens whenever I have a relatively full SD card with different projects on it. Every time I want to import new photos to a project, it's usually the most recent captures. This results in a lot of hurry-up-and-wait. This is especially noticeable when helping a friend who never removes photos from their SD card between projects.

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

I've taken to deleting my photos from my SD card more often after moving them to an external drive.

Thanks! I didn't think the sort option also affected import order!

By default, the files are in date order in the import viewer, oldest first. If you click on the control top left to change the order, and select Date again, it will put them in reverse order (newest first, indicated by the - sign in front of the word Date).
