Custom Sorting for Image Sequences Capture One Live

Currently, on Capture One Live, image sequences are automatically sorted by capture time. It would be beneficial to have the option to present a specific image sequence to clients in a custom order. This would allow for a more tailored and effective presentation.

I'm making a slide show that will be shown on software that does not include Capture One. I use C1 to edit and choose the images. The images must be in a specific order as the slideshow will present a person's life in chronological order. I can reorder them in the viewfinder but they export in the original sequence.

I predominantly use live sessions in post production for the clients to do their selection on my raw edit. Shooting with multiple cameras I need to bring the images into a custom order by changing their file names. Having the option to sort the images by file name on default would be the single most important improvement for me on this extremely helpful feature.

I am assuming this is related to the fact you can only sort by capture time. I have no idea why more sorting options are not included. Such as star ratings or name. Doing a live shoot for a client and having them see recent images is ONE use of the live feature but it seems to easy to make this tool more flexible.

Hello @Guest , thanks a lot for the feedback! Can you give us a couple of examples how this would work if it was available? How would you use it and what is your current workaround? feel free to drop me an email if you prefer at: eke@captureone.com. Last, I want to apologise for the late response. Cheers!
