Update: Local Host does not apear until you are connected so here is the sequence:

Network Tab - connect to EOS Utility - Add a device to connect to - New settings - WIFI OK - ... Camera access point mode - Easy connection - Save camera access point, OK - Setings saved, OK

Then go to iPad Wi-Fi settings and under Other Networks select your R5M2 and fill in password from camera screen.

Camera will enter pairing mode select OK

Open Capture One Mobile and wait for Camera to be displayed under "Connect" on the menu, then select connect

On the R5M2 screen you will see PC Local Host found, press OK. in a few moments the connection is made.

If you have not already done so, under albums, create a new capture album.

    All good now.

For those who may have an R5 Mark II, the "Local Host" settings are under "Connect to EOS Utility" in Network function section - tab 2.

You can keep an eye on the article here: Supported cameras, lenses and image files (mobile) It's usually up-to-date.

I checked and there wasn't an update yet and in the literature, R5M2 is not listed yet. I have not checked today but its late. I will check again tomorrow. Thx

Hi Rob, wireless tethering should already be supported. Please make sure to update the app to the latest version and let our tech team know if you're experiencing any issues. Should you need to contact them, go to support.captureone.com and submit your request.

Is there a timeline on when wireless might be supported?
