Iphne capture camera app: enable louder key for shutter release
Dear Capture team, Is there a way to introduce shutter release in your iphone capture camera app with the louder key? Would help Bluetooth grips to work with your iphone camera app. Thanks
The Capture profiles are the reason to use the Capture app and not the normal apple camera app :-), Please have a look at the „lenses“ for Iphone 15 pro max, Thanks
Wow, you are right! Using the ipad in my studio for tethering and with clients and the iphone mostly privately for family shots (when I have no camera with me) and for camera backup on vacation
Hey Michael, I remember our talk, it took place right after Capture One on iPad was released. I hope you are doing well :) So if my memory serves me right, you are mostly into wedding photography, right? do you see iPhone being useful in that setup or do you something else in mind?
I am finally over to everything Capture, was a long time user with desktop, but now I am also using iphone and ipad (we had an interview together not too long ago, I think)
To your question: a lot of bluetooth camera grips for iphone are using the louder key for trigger. I have a grip device from JJC with is connected via magsafe (physically) and bluetooth (software). Using this grip with the Apple camera app, the trigger on the grip takes a photo. With the capture camera app the grip trigger makes the sound louder, but is not taking a photo.
A lot of other camera apps like Pro camera app or Black magic movie app have a switch for volume trigger that can be enabled, the you can use the grip trigger to take photos. ( Blackmagic camera app (free): Use Volume button to trigger record)
Hello 388391719237 and apologies for the late response. We will be releasing a new version of the app with a shutter button really soon but not using the louder key. Could you share a few words about your workflow and why this is important for you?
Cool, thanks! If you need anything else, please let me know
Super! The team has built a fix for the lenses (x5) and we will release it soon. Thanks 388391719237 :)

Nice!Yes it did help :) Thanks a lot! What are your thoughts about the prostandard profiles available for ProRAW in the app?
Did the above comment help (Volume button and trigger)?
