It seems each time I turn my camera off and on, C1 for iPad defaults Save to location to Capture One. Is it possible to remember the Save to location to CFe + Capture One (or whatever we choose)?
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Each time I used C1 for iPad
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I need to remember to check the save to location each time
Thank you 382719398438. We are working on it and I hope soon it will be available. What is your main camera model if I may ask? ( tagging you 370116698098 just in case you want to chip in )
I have the same issue on IPHONE, when by any situation Camera disconnet from iphone.. setting come back to C1 only and i'm losing file into memory. I'm sport photographer 700 to 1000 shots by session.., if I need to go to iphone to recover some photo that i've lose because C1 reconnect is a mess.
I am also finding this a real hindrance, I can't bring the iPad fully into my workflow as a direct result of this. I want to shoot to the iPad on small jobs and personal work, but, to have to set this every single time I connect the camera is frustrating, and ridiculous.
You should be able to set defaults for the camera and for the app to remember that. We've got enough to deal with on set, especially when shooting alone.

Agree! Very annoying indeed, to be honest.
Thanks in advance!
