Direct where files are saved when tethered to iPad/C1 Mobile

It would be excellent to have the option to save RAW files to the memory card of the camera (Canon R5 in my case) and then JPEG's as previews to the iPad. This would speed up the transfer/display of images for clients when shooting fast AND would be a safer workflow then just saving to the ipad. Could also include the option to save to an attached external drive instead of the ipad - never save to the iPad, thats dumb.


Current workaround

There is none - you have to save to both memory card and iPad and when the iPad fills up, its annoying.

    Hi,

    You should already be able to direct RAWs and JPGs to card and/or to the iPad, it was released in version 2.4.2, on June 5th 2024.
    "Destination Selection: Send RAW files to both your device and SD cards, or send JPEGs to your device for faster processing. Destination Selection now allows common combinations, and custom workflows for Canon, Nikon, and Sony cameras."

    Thank you for the suggestion about external drives, we have just released the ability to import and export to external storages but this doesn't yet cover tethering - we're looking into that.
