Issue:
The white balance tool currently has a maximum value of 14000K.
This limitation presents challenges in specific projects, such as underwater photography, where exceeding this threshold is often necessary. While I’ve found that using the white balance picking tool allows me to surpass this limit, there are some significant issues to consider:
Incorrect Display: After using the white balance picking tool, if the white balance goes over 14000K, the user interface continues to display 14000K, making it impossible to determine the actual value.
Jumping Values: After using the white balance picking tool, if the white balance goes over 14000K, any attempt to edit the value causes it to revert back to 14,000K.
Lack of Manual Control: I cannot manually set the white balance value to exceed 14000K.
Steps to reproduce:
Load the attached image
Use the white balance picking tool on a the fish belly, it should display 14000K
Try to edit the white balance Kelvin cursor
i have the same issue, mainly when i scan without any color correction i have to push way over 14k the kelvins of my negatives.
i can pick a neutral area (which many times i dont have) but even at that point i can not copy and paste the same value on any other image. impossible to have a correct white balance on portrait for example, even having a grey card on the first picture doesnt allow me to copy the setting.
