Nikon ZF preserve camera RAW settings on import. Monochrome ICC profile

What problem do you see this solving?

Preserve "in camera RAW conversions" on import into CP1. I.E. Monochrome settings, negative film looks etc....

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Just purchased a Nikon ZF, it lets you shoot in a monochrome mode which automatically converts RAW photos to black and white. Upon importing to CP1 all this monochrome conversion is stripped away. Adobe Lightroom allows you to keep " camera settings" on import so these images stay black and white once imported.

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

The Nikon monochrome icc profile exists in CP1 in "base characteristics" So whycan't there be an option to read this metadata on import to preserve the camera settings.

I really would like to see this being implemented, it’s a massive pita to manually change the profile for each B&W picture and completely undermines the ease of use of the B&W switch on my Nikon Z f.

I'd also really like to see a fix for this. I've had Fujifilm cameras for ages and the selected film simulation is always applied when opening the RAW files in CO.
