earWhat problem do you see this solving?
Usually I apply crop early in editing. Automatic selection of healing source point sometimes selects a point outside of the area cropped away. Often I want to move the healing source point. So I have to remove or change the crop area first, then move the source point, then crop again. Tedious: (1) remembering the crop area to what I used in the first place (2) failed to move the healing source point nicely so that I have to repeat the procedure ... As a fix I would like to have e.g. a keybord key to temporarily remove the cropping, or some way of having the view as when cropping is active and see the healing source points simultaneously (yes, there could be some catches here...). Applying crop later does not make much sense to me, since that might imply, that I use healing and later crop healed areas away, so having applied healing without need in the end.
Addition: often I actually WISH to use the healing source point in the parts of the picture cropped away, I'd like to be able to do that also without having to manipulate the crop area manually back and forth.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Nearly every time I edit a few more pictures
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? Is there a workaround which would spare me of having to remove and re-apply cropping? |
I do this dozens of times per wedding, it would be amazing to be able to toggle the crop on and off.
I feel your pain - so many times I want to heal something only to learn, that the source is entirely outside the view and... is applied incorrectly.
