What problem do you see this solving?
When working with multiple Images from a landscape series captured on a tripod, I sometimes want to use the crop tool to have all images showing the exact same view.
To achieve this, I apply a crop to the first image and then use the assign functionality to copy it to all other images of the series. Often there are minimal differences and so I have to move the crop area for a single-digit number of pixels into a direction.
For this I would like to be able to move the crop area with the arrow keys of my keyboard. Because when I use the mouse to move the area, lets say for example 3 pixels in the Y axis, I will probably not nail that exactly and end up with a worse position than before - most of the time also changing the other axis.
Maybe I am just clumsy, but being able to move the crop area with a keyboard-key would enable people like me to solve this task in a breeze with pixel-precision.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
I often do landscapes with multiple images that need to be cropped with pixel-precision.
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? My workaround is to move the crop area by mouse. But this is often frustrating because it is very hard to achieve a pixe-precise result this way - so sometimes I have to do the final crop in Adobe Photoshop. |
