Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
All recent Leica cameras (M10m/r; M11, SL2s, Q3) have a LPC tool that automatically corrects the keystone effect. The corresponding LPC data is recorded in the RAW files (DNG). Adobe’s LrC can interpret and apply the data via the quided upright correction tool. Now, Capture One Pro even has dedicated button to „Apply Camera Keystone Data“. However, this only works with certain PhaseOne cameras. Can‘t this be extended to read and apply the LPC data as well? Thanks for considering!
Yes, I would switch to Capture One if they add this feature. Using my Leica M11-P and this feature is really helplful. Capture one has this feature for their own backs, so it should not be hard to be able to read the DNG info leica is providing and apply it in the same way.
I can only agree! The perspective corrections are automatically recorded by a sensor and entered into the RAW file. This is not the same result in image processing as automatically correcting the perspective with C1. It would be nice if this “Apply Camera Keystone Data” function was also applied to Leica files. As a demonstration, I would like to provide the original DNG files here, but this is only possible with JPG files and this information is no longer available.
We would be very happy about an expansion to the Leica Kmeras.
