Enable Home and End keys in the Browser window.

What problem do you see this solving?

I often open the All Images view in the Capture One browser window, and I'd like to be taken straight to the newest photos. But if the images are scrolled the middle of my 120,00 images, I have to try to grab that tiny window handle and drag it to the bottom, which may be obscured by the popup tool tab across the right side.

Enabling the Home and End keys would solve the issue.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

I'm affected by this probably five to ten times a week.

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

As I wrote above, I can grab the tiny scroll bar, but it's always a bother and actually forced me to move the popup toolbar to the left side of the window.

    PERFECT! I remapped to the Home and End keys on my extended keyboard.

    Thanks!

    Edit Keyboard shortcuts
    Select->Last
    and
    Select->First

    The Find function pauses as its loads each letter that I've typed.

    The search box, right? I think it should be a relative easy implementation to change the behavior so that the search does not start before one hits Enter/Return. Configurable of course, in order not to loose the current behavior. But who knows.

    My plan is to eventually move everything to SSD and keep only my most recent year in the active catalog. It's seldom that I need to go back to previous years.

    Yes, some kind of divide and conquer strategy would certainly be a good idea for such big (in C1 terms) catalogs.

    On my extended keyboard with Home and End keys, they do nothing in the Browser window.

    Performance? Not satisfied. If I'm looking at a recent import of a few hundred images, then all is fine. If I select All Images for the Browser window, it's almost impossible to work with. Lots of spinning beach balls. The Find function pauses as its loads each letter that I've typed.

    That said, I've found Capture One superior to the other cataloging options -- except Apple's Aperture, which I miss to this day.

    In Windows version, the "pos1" and "end" keys work exactly as requested, not so on Mac?

    +1

    btw, you have 120,000 images? Are you satisfied with the C1 performance?
