Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
What problem do you see this solving?
Describe the problem or issue you are having in Capture One.
Capture One does not show the creation date of video files which prevents customers from using the software for a holistic digital asset management (DAM).
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Pretty much every time I use the software.
It is quite common nowadays to work with both, photo and video files and manage them together, especially for smartphone generated content.
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? Unfortunately, Capture One does not offer any workarounds and it is a pity that the product management does not see the value of this small improvement. From Adobe Lightroom over ON1 Photo Raw to any other DAM or photo editing software I’ve tried so far, they all were able to show the timestamp of video files. |
Hi everyone,
Thank you for the suggestion - this is not something we are currently working on.
This does not mean this is a bad suggestion or that it will never be adressed, but in an effort of transparency we want you to know that we are not currently allocating resources to solving this issue.
We will revisit the status of this thread if and when it changes.
