Histogram with non compressed dark and high light area

Dear C1,

I'm using all 4 histogram tools, but I'm especialy interested in the Evaluation tool - I want to know excactly how my highlights and my lowlights is present in the original RAWfile. The purpose is to expose to the right and get as much information into the file as possible and avoid shadow noise as well as controlling the darkest areas while printing. But to my supprise the evaluation diagram does not have a linear x-axis - in fact it compresses the highlights and the black parts - its the opposite of what I need. And - to me - some strange numbers is shown at the axis (from -2 to +2) - its not stops (the distances are too big) but then what is it?

My wish: Is it possible to make (or choose at the 3 dots menu) a more detailed Evaluation Tool which has a linear x-axis with f ex 14 exposurevalues on it?

Kind regards
