Tethered shooting with A7IV with Capture One iPAD

What problem do you see this solving?

Currently I am using Capture One for iPad ver 1.7.1

Photos were tethered shooting from my Sony A7IV and a TetherPro USB-C to USB-C cable.

However, the performance was very unstable during my studio session today, where from time to time the software (Capture One for iPad) would not be able to receive the tethered photo.

I have enabled PC remote access via USB and set the camera to save to both the PC and Body as per the guide, and have already tried killing the software and removing all connected devices and switching the folder it saves to, still I only receive some of the photos shot on my camera. And none of the mentioned methods help the software to keep receiving photos from the camera.

Also I have noticed, right after the shot, if you press play, it may affect the photo transfer, I am not sure if there is any connection to this problem, but it happened a few times during my shoot today and it starts to look like a bug.

Rather hoping Capture One could look into this.

When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Today

Current workaround

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?

There was no workaround I found today, and I am glad my camera at least saved the photos correctly on the SD card, but I am frustrated that I cannot see the photos on my tethered iPad correctly.

Hi K from HK, since this is not a feature request and you already made a similar post in the iPad topic, I will now delete this post. Also consider contacting our support team if you continue to have issues!
