Full Screen in Windows

Pressing F in Capture One in MacOS makes the image full screen but in Windows, it doesn't. In Windows, the panel remains. My desktop is MacOS but my laptop, which I use when I travel, is Windows. It would be very useful to be able to see an image full screen when editing on a laptop display which is not very big to begin with.

"What problem do you see this solving?"

During the editing process it's essential to stop and evaluate where you are. I use the before and after button a lot and also full screen. This function is limited in Windows, making achieving a good result more difficult. Full screen mode is, in my opinion, one of the more useful functions and having it curtailed is frustrating.

"When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?"

Every time I edit on the laptop. I travel several times a year, usually for a couple of weeks and will edit every day on these trips.

Current workaround

"Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?"

No. I simply use what is available, but it is a constant frustration.

    Denis,

I don't understand your request.  I did read the pinned post and as far as I can tell I did use the template.  What do you want me to change.

In the pinned post it says to copy and paste the text below but below is paragraph of instructions only.  Is that what you need?  It's all very unclear.

Full screen in Lightroom works equally well in both Windows and MacOS, so it should be possible in C1 too.

Is the user base of C1 mostly Mac users?  I was not aware of this.  If C1 wishes to expand its user base, they should cater to both Windows and Mac users equally.  I actually prefer Windows and only bought a Mac Studio as I got sick of my older Windows machine with it's hot and loud (fans) 8th gen Intel processor.

    It's a known limitation which C1 admits, https://tinyurl.com/yz3t7mrj

They say that it's a windows operating system issue and not something they can remedy easily. And as the overwhelming user-base of C1 is mac centred, I guess there's not a lot of incentive to work around the issue.
