Capture One on desktop

I dread Capture One opening the last session or catalog upon starting Capture one. For instance Adobe Photoshop doesn't automatically open the the last opened file when starting the application. Photoshop only start's the application without files...

What problem do you see this solving? I love the method of organizing albuns and projects on C1, the only thing i think is missing is the capability to search for a specific colection/album (a bit like LR classic has).
