It would be awfully nice to have moiré automatically detected and removed, instead of having to manually mask and remove it. For high-volume catalogue work, wedding photographers, and corporate portrait photographers, this could save untold hours. If you could train an AI to identify moiré, it could be targeted and removed with much more accuracy at the end of the demosaicing stage, and would prevent the dreaded “damn, I missed a section!” merry-go-round between C1 and Photoshop.

Current workaround
Hunt-and-peck. Manually look for and remove moiré image by image. If you notice a section that you missed while doing additional retouching in Photoshop, go back to C1 and fix it. Manually. |
