Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
In mothers of color the only thing that is growing me to go to a photoshop instead of finishing the color directly in Capture One is Photoshop’ Selective Color menu. The ability of control the Saturation by adding or removing each primary color from each primary color as well as high, medium and low tones. Is something that can be add in a new layer in photoshop so adding multiple layers with this adjustment allows to create unique looks that until now is not possible to create directly in Capture One. Unless I need an advanced retouch if this tool would exist in Capture One I could get rid of Photshop for 85% of the work
Current workaround
My workaround is to export from CO in PSD to a folder, add that folder to favorites. The work the file in Photoshop, using the Selective Color in multiple layers and controlling the opacity level in each layer. I also do other retouched at this point using the tapon or the band-aid tool, but hat is not relevant for this request. I save the changes and go back to CO to my PSD folder and export the PSD from there as the color render is superior |
