As a real estate photograper, I frequently shoot with a drone. My workflow requires simple culling and uploading DNGs for others to edit. The DJI Mavic 3 shoots in a 4:3 format. I need 3:2. SInce there is no way to shoot in 3:2 on the drone, I now have to crop in post. It would be great to export DNGs with the crop respected, and not as a JPG. I use C1 for all my editing and would love to be able to avoid using lightroom just for aerial stills.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
3-4 times per week. I was using C1 exclusively but now I need to switch to Lightroom for aerial stills.

Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One?
I tried round-tripping to Photoshop but that takes too long and duplicates files.
I'm not sure what you are trying to do here. Presumably after you have edited your file in Capture One, you want to output it in some suitable usable format, and that edit could include a crop. What are you expecting to use the DNG for?
Im simply trying to crop a 4:3 to a 3:2 aspect ratio and export as DNG. I then export files to others to continue the edit.
