I “scan” my analog negatives 35mm to 8x10 with a PhaseOne IQ4 tethered to C1 and then I have to export and import into Lightroom to use Negative Lab Pro. Unfortunately Lightroom does not tether PhaseOne cameras… then export from Lightroom and re-import into C1.
The only explanation I can think of why Lightroom doesn’t tether with PhaseOne and C1 not allowing well developed (Lightroom) plugins to run on its platform is some childish competition. I asked the developer of Negative Lab Pro and he confirmed that C1 does not grant him access to develop the plugin.
Seriously guys (I assume it’s guys and not gals), get over yourselves and work for your customers not your egos.

Current workaround
Shoot negative with PhaseOne IQ4 tethered to C1. Export as DNG. Import DNG to Lightroom, use Negative Lab Pro to convert to positive. Export positive. Import to C1. |
