Tethering support for Panasonic Lumix S1r

I would like to ask when Capture One will tethering support for Panasonic Lumix S1r?

I'm a Capture One user since 2005 using phase one.

In 2019 I switched to the lumix S1r and I feel sad that I don't have the connection of my camera with capture one.

Do not leave aside the users of the Panasonic Lumix S1r it is a great equipment with incredible quality what is missing is the tethering support with capture one.

Hope good news soon

thank you

paulo

Hi @Guest , please refer to this page for supported cameras https://support.captureone.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002718118-Camera-models-and-RAW-files-supported-by-Capture-One

We unfortunately do not control what external online boutiques are putting on their websites, but it seems to be a mistake in this case.

I'm using capture one for more than 15 years now...shooting mainly in studio...

I just bought a lumix S1R as a backup for my leica sl2 but i don't manage to shoot connected.

I don't understand...? i saw some online boutiques selling S1R with capture one license as a package...? what's the point

if we can't shoot tethered...Is there a way to tether the S1R or should I send the camera back? Please Help ;)

This may be Panasonic's issue and not Capture One's issue. It depends on what support Panasonic makes available to third party software makers.

I only wonder if this is a feature request or camera support request...

That's a surprising lack anyway considering it was once a flagship camera, I think?

I was just about to make the switch to Panasonic from Fuji as for my purposes, Panasonic is better value for money as a hybrid system, especially on the video side with exposure tools. Sadly I'll have to stick with Fuji for now cause having proper tethering for me has become crucial, when I use it.

I literally caught this lack of full support last week Friday.

I been waiting since 2019 also and longtime captureone user previously with Canon. Hot folder with lumix tether worked well for me however adjustments/treatments aren’t possible to set up for the session which is not ideal with clients on set. However now with an Ipad pro theres no lumix sync and with no support for panasonic theres no work around on Ipad pro Captureone which is just as annoying and has me considering a secomd hand Leica SL just for tether support and an L-mount. These are fully capable pro cameras and the S1R is still a top sensor to this day. I think it has to do with Panasonic being video first, stills second so it may never happen. Unfortunately we’ve all made a big L-mount lens investment but still I’m clinging to hope tethering support happens someday for the S series

Just made the switch to Lumix S1 series for my business, and staggered by this unexpected lack of support!!!! Lens and colour profiles and of course lack of tethering!! It seems"inclusivity" or lack of in this case is just a trendy buzz word.
