Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
What problem do you see this solving?
I routinely shoot many variants of the same subject. Most are pruned in post-processing and the keepers stay for some time, and I possibly assign them to different collections. Months later I run another round of pruning and I usually delete some of them — but I need to manually check that the candidates for deletion are not member of a collection (that could have been published).
I'd like to have a warning box, so when I delete a photo C1 tells me ”This photo belongs to the following albums: 'Foo', 'Bar', ...” .
It would be also nice to render a small badge over a thumbnail to indicate that the photo is contained in some collections. Lightroom has these features.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?
Most times I work with my photos.
Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? In most cases (but not all) if a photo is in an album there is an exported JPEG somewhere on the disk and the exported file has the same name, so I have a script to search for it. I probably could write an Applescript script, but I'm unsure it would be effective because Applescript operations with C1 are often very slow. |
Agreed.

Lightroom tells you on right click which collections this photo belongs to. (And lets you switch to it)
This would be wonderful to have.
