Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
Are you planning an update to give the ability to work completely with CaptureOne Mobile on an external SSD? I have tens of thousands of photos from the last 16-18 years and being able to import the entire archive to an external drive - not the internal iPadPro memory would give me the ability to work. However, an iPad with a 2TB drive is very expensive. And an entire library on an SSD drive also allows for fairly easy backup to further drives and security of photos.
To clarify the issue - I gave up my MAc some time ago and now only have an iPadPro
I do School Photography and Sports. The ability that CO Desktop version has to create sessions on my Hard Drive is amazing. Would love to have this same feature on the iPad since I take a lot of photos and iPad memory is limited. The ability to have an external Hard Drive while tethering on an iPad will make everything more mobile and the Session workflow so practical. I use a session per student, so I can fill in each name. and then edit either on the road on iPad or on desktop at home.
Thank You!
This would be an amazing addition to Capture One Mobile for iPAD. While tethered during the shoot I would like to save to my camera's card and an external hard drive. I do not want to save to my iPAD (not enough memory). After the shoot, I would select the images I want to work on and bring them over to the iPAD or my PC. Currently I have to do this manually, which messes up the flow of my shoots. Other apps like Cascable have this feature, but the app is not as great as Capture One. Thanks for listening.
I am VERY much looking forward to this being possible.
Hello Evi,
Would this include a NAS location added through the Files app?
Great to hear it is on the top of the list.
Hello 16407370249245, thanks for the feedback. While I can't provide a concrete timeline at the moment, I want you to know that this request is at the top of our list. We're actively considering it and will keep you updated as we make progress. Feel free to share any insights of your current, iPad only workflow, I am very interested in learning more.
