Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
What problem do you see this solving?
So, to achieve a "long exposure" effect, and also a noise reduction effect, stacking multiple raw images and average them (with aligning) you could achieve this. I guess this is what the Phase One cameras does "in-camera" with its Frame Averaging. However, that would be an awesome feature to have in Capture One as well (for us that doesn't use Phase One Camera).
There already exists a HDR merge tool that allows for aligning of the images. It's just another blend method, instead of blending for dynamic range, just average all chosen images to a new DNG file.
When was the last time you were affected by this lack of functionality, or specific tool?

Current workaround
Are you using any workarounds or other solutions to achieve your goals in Capture One? Yes, using Lightroom and Photoshop. Which I ultimately would like to avoid and just use Capture One. |
This is a handy thing I like to do as well. With image alignment, you can do very long handheld exposures this way. The night mode long exposure features of smartphone cameras do essentially this. Align a stack of photos, then median filter.
