Request a new feature, or support for a camera/lens that you would like to use in Capture One.
As a landscape photographer I would like to have a Map module in Capture One where I can set the GPS coordinates and where I can see where my pictures were taken. I am now using Houdahgeo in combination with Capture One. But it would be great to have it in one application (as in Lightroom Classic).
Thanks in advance for looking into it. Greetings, Peter Vrijlandt
I completely agree that a Map module would be a fantastic addition to Capture One! As a casual street photographer, geotagging is essential for organizing and revisiting locations, especially when planning future shoots or documenting travel photography.
Right now, having to use external software like MyTracks (https://apps.apple.com/id/app/mytracks/id403100976?mt=12) adds unnecessary steps to the workflow. A built-in GPS mapping feature would make Capture One a more complete tool for photographers who rely on location data. Lightroom Classic already offers this functionality, and adding it to Capture One would greatly enhance its usability for outdoor and travel photographers.
Hope the Capture One team seriously considers this!
This is a very basic function that has been available for years in many programs. Please CO add this feature to your very good but expensive program.
I would like to be able to import a gpx file onto captureone to geotag the photos semi-automatically
I shoot real estate and need this function too. Until then, I guess I'll remain with Adobe Lightroom Classic.
Co, What do you do for this???
